Supported Flair for /r/gameofthrones
You may notice many subscribers to this subreddit have custom text and a sigil icon after their name signifying a House or other group from the series. You too can choose what part of the books or show fits you the best.
All of the currently supported groups are listed on this page (with current member counts). Mouseover any group to see an example of how it will look in /r/gameofthrones. Click on any group to message the bot and join that group. Updates happen every five minutes. To change groups just make a new request. If you would like to join a group not currently represented, send a message to me with your idea.
The old Choose Your House threads (first, second) on Reddit are closed. The new Reddit flair system needs bot management to make it viable, so all requests are now managed through flairbot2000. It is a bot, so if you want to give other feedback on this system, please message me.
RES USERS PLEASE NOTE: Most of the features in RES work fine with /r/gameofthrones, but the two User modules: User Tagger and User Highlighter do not. User Tagger adds extra code directly after the username, regardless whether Reddit flair is enabled. Since the RES code is inserting it between the name and flair rather than after the flair, it breaks the name+flair pair. User Highlighter adds color highlights for submitters, mods, etc, but /r/gameofthrones already has more extensive highlighting set up, so when RES tries to do its highlights it needlessly overrides some of the /r/gameofthrones highlighting. User Highlighter is essentially not needed and User Tagger outright breaks the display, so I recommend you disable both of those RES modules.
